Home Office766 Hickory Ridge DrivePO Box 942Hernando, MS 38632Our PurposeThe purpose of CrossRoads Foundation is to transform lives with the hope of the gospel at the crossroads of life. Our purpose is focused on sharing the gospel and providing financial support, humanitarian aid, and rehabilitation initially to homeless children in Ukraine. Our vision is to reach out to similarly situated people, both children and adults, in other impoverished areas, including the United States. Our purpose and vision is to be an agent of transformation in people’s lives as they stand at a crossroad in life, pointing them toward and walking with them on the path to Jesus. Activities of MinistryCrossRoads Foundation provides humanitarian aid services, including, but not limited to, financial support, food, clothing, and shelter to homeless children in Ukraine. Our purpose is to provide not only for the physical needs of these homeless children but their spiritual needs as well. We work with ChildRescue, a Ukrainian ministry to rehabilitate & reintegrate street children back into families & society. CrossRoads Foundation also hosts short term mission teams from the USA to serve homeless children in various ways, providing for their physical needs, while fleshing out a tangible expression of the gospel. CrossRoads Foundation works with your short term mission team leader to provide Team Devotions & Bible Studies, while prayerfully challenging your team each day on the mission trip to identify ways God is pursuing them (just as much as those they will be serving) as they are stretched out of their comfort zones. CrossRoads Foundation Doctrinal Statement of Beliefs* We believe:
- In the Triune God, who governs all things according to the purpose of His will.
- In the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women, for God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable.
- That there is only one Savior and only one gospel, although there is a wide diversity of evangelistic approaches. Jesus Christ, being Himself the only God-man, who gave Himself as the only ransom for sinners, is the only mediator between God and people. There is no other name by which we must be saved.
- That we are called to evangelize/spread the good news that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that as the reigning Lord he now offers the forgiveness of sins and His Holy Spirit to all who repent and believe. The results of evangelism include obedience to Christ, incorporation into His Church and responsible service in the world.
- That God is both the Creator and the Judge of all men and women. We therefore should share His concern for justice and reconciliation throughout human society and for the liberation of men, women, and children from every kind of oppression. The salvation we claim should be transforming us in the totality of our personal and social responsibilities. We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.
- It is the Church’s mission to take the whole gospel to the whole world. The Church is at the very center of God’s cosmic purpose and is His appointed means of spreading the gospel. The church is the community of God’s people rather than an institution, and must not be identified with any particular culture, social or political system, or human ideology. We seek a deep unity in truth, worship, holiness, and mission.
- That Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly, in power and glory, to consummate His salvation and His judgment. Until that day we are compelled to dedicate ourselves to the service of Christ and of people in joyful submission to His authority over the whole of our lives.
